Terrible service have to pay to see a specialist. Then once you have recommendations from specialist they don’t follow them up leave you without medication absolutely disgusting

Hello my Name is Mark and I have been a patient at Oulton Medical centre for over 20 years and I have had a back problem for a couple of years and I have had a terrible time , I have jumped through the hoops, including colonoscopy and endoscopy, but never a face to face appointment, I’ve been promised, body imaging, and I have had -a couple of appointments with MSK , but after the problem is found, they don’t seem to want to know, I’ve asked for a face to face appointment, but no it’s another telephone appointment, and when I’ve asked for another prescription for co-codamol, the doctor, one especially Dr William Cowie, treats you like a simpleton, they are addictive, yes I know, I was a pharmacy manager, but what am I to do when I am in pain and cannot sleep, this surgery had a problem a few years ago with a GP who had a problem with Codiene and it made the paper, so i wonder if this as a bearing on anything, I don’t know, I own my own business so need to be fully functional and care for my staff, but who cares for me!! Shocking

Difficult to describe how appalling this practice is. Total lack of empathy, negligence and lack of care by some of the GP’s. Admin and reception staff rude and unhelpful. Almost impossible to get through to speak to anyone, the quickest wait before speaking to someone was 85 minutes. For anyone considering registering with this practice - don’t. I’m now with another GP practice and the difference is beyond description.
