I have been with this surgery since before the present doctor started here. The doctors, surgery and staff were brilliant before and this very good service has been continued since the doctor took over. The changes in this modern world has made health care harder to deliver. The pressures on doctors and on ourselves are much changed and the world is driven far more by time pressures. This should not be held against health care professionals who do their work admirably under ever changing rules and regulations. I state again this surgery is excellent and I would commend it to anyone. | |||||||

I was sad to find out that the best doctor I have ever had was no longer at the surgery. I saw a new doctor. It was over 15 mins after my stated appointment that I got to see them. I don't mind if other patients have needed the GP longer than the new standard 10 min max appointments. I knew that I had to be quick myself as I was going to be well over being at work when I said I would be. I told them quickly what the issues were that I was seeing them for. They did make a referral for one thing and have a request put through for blood. Unfortunately they are not able to perform contizone injections so that means I have to rearrange another appointment.
The problem was that the doctor wasted at least three minutes of my ten minute slot telling me that there were only ten minutes to each appointment. They said this to me at least six times during my appointment.
I had a really bad year in 2016 and rated my GP as fantastic as they listened. I don't feel that this doctor listens.
Not to be totally negative the practice nurse is fantastic along with the rest of the support team | |||||||
