My 2 year old niece was not well or eating like she normally does for the 2 days we called this GP surgery to be told by the male arrogant receptionist that he was not bothered and she would need a covid test upon contacting 111 I was informed that tests are not done on children under 11 years of age and upon giving 111 my nieces symptoms was advised to take her to the. Local A&E department which we did they are running tests on my niece and say its not Covid like the receptionist was 100% sure it was, the A&E Department also stated this is something that the GP practice could have dealt with as they are able to see children and issue any medication needed As a family we will be looking into getting my niece removed from this surgery as next time she could be worse and feel the. MALE receptionist should be dealt with accordingly and issued more training or dismissed as a matter. If urgency as what if he was ill and needed an ambulance only to be told they cannot be bothered? They used to be great, but can never get through and the receptionist staff have become inappropriately disrespectful.
