One word sums this practice up~ terrible. The lack of of care and respect to the terminally ill has lessened my faith in human nature. I have tried my very best to get adequate pain relief for my terminally ill father and I cannot. The story is too long to tell but the bottom line is they just do not care and are not fit for purpose.

This is a follow up to this mornings experience of the surgery. I visited the local pharmacy,and was seen by a very helpful pharmacist.She advised me to try again for a surgery appointment if that failed, to ring 111 for an 'out of hours' appointment, or to visit a walk in clinic. I took her advice, rang the surgery,and was offered a telephone appointment later in the afternoon.this happened about half an hour later, and I was offered a course of antibiotics. The staff I had dealings with in the afternoon were brilliant, helpful and sympathetic... Many thanks for the help

I have had cystitis symptoms for about ten days..I bought an over the counter remedy a week ago, and thought the symptoms had disappeared, but this morning I experienced more severe symptoms, with pain in my lower abdomen,and difficulties when passing urine.As I am going on holiday in three days time, I rang the surgery for advice. I was told there were no appointments today, and I should contact the pharmacy for advice on 'over the counter' remedies....I explained that I had already done this and the symptoms had returned.The box co training the medication said that if symptoms persistedI had to consult the doctor.... I asked if I could go to the local surgery of my holiday destination when I arrived and was told'I haven't a clue' Am not sure what options I have now, but am sure that Hollyns Well Being Surgery' won't have much to do with whether I get help or not
