On a day when the media are reporting negatively about accessing medical services my own experience today was the polar opposite. I spoke to a calm and empathetic receptionist who arranged a call back from a GP. I was called within 15 minutes and then invited to the surgery for a consultation 30 minutes later. My GP gave me all the time and reassurance I needed. My condition was diagnosed and a treatment programme instigated. Outstanding service. We have passed on your message to our reception team and to the GP who saw you today and know it will be very much appreciated. Drs Reeves, Inglis, Turton, Langridge, Pitt and Reynolds |

Like most practices it's not always easy to get an appointment. That said, when I need an urgent appointment I usually get one via the GP triage function.Yesterday I rang needing an urgent appointment at 11.20 and by 12:00 I had been examined and prescribed medicine.I am not allowed to name the Doctor on here but despite being the youngest at the practice I have always found him to be highly professional and effective. No practice will ever please all of the people all of the time but I believe that few are better than this one. |

We have been at TMC for just over six years and have received nothing but outstanding care, treatment and support throughout that time from everyone we have come into contact with. All the doctors are extremely personable and show genuine care and compassion. During the past 6 years we have welcomed three new editions into our family and couldn’t have asked for more during that journey. I have received nothing but reassurance when visiting with my babies, the doctors take time to talk you through everything to help you understand what is normal so that I have felt more confident as a parent in knowing when everything is ok or when I need to seek advice and I have never been made to feel silly for getting them checked out when I was worried. They have shown great tolerance for my toddler when he has had to come along to appointments for the babies, offering toys and books to entertain. We have also always used the in house pharmacy and they are also excellent, such lovely people and nothing seems like too much trouble. During our time at the surgery, there was a significant flood which impacted on the building (and the whole town). It was outstanding how everyone went over and above to continue to deliver excellent health care during that time. As a family we feel lucky to have had such a great surgery with such great people for the past 6 years, sadly we are moving away from the area and can only hope we find a surgery half as good as this one, thank you everyone at TMC.
