The Doctors, nurses and all othe staff at Cedar Medical go beyond and above just providing a service. In fact, they dont provide service, they provide utmost care, attention, and by doing so I know we can come to them with any issue. In fact, I had a major mental breakdown and they got me in on urgently within just a couple of hours and the care and attention I have received from two Doctors was superb. They never rushed me, heard me out and have decided I need to seek mental health care. Its what I needed. They have never failed us, made us feel comfortable which I havent experienced anywhere else.
Now if mental health would be half as good, I would be getting the help I desperately need. Unfortunately thats not happening. But its a different story..
I thank Cedar Medical Practice everything they do for us, more than words can say. |

I have a very poorly wife with mental illness issues which mean she can't deal well with the medical profession and is agoraphobic. When asked if she could join this practice she was refused because she was unable to attend for the pre registration examination. So she is unable to see a doctor because she can't 'see' a doctor at the surgery. She is physically unwell and in terrible pain and gets high rate PIP so is recognised as having these problems. I feel ithis is discrimination against mentally ill people and is adding to the problems she has. Reply from Dr Dwyer & Partners Tue, 24 Feb 2015 13:04:10 Z We are very sorry to hear you recieved this response regarding registration from our practice and will be speaking to staff to ensure this does not happen again. Please accept our apologies and if you would still like to register your wife with our practice we would be more than happy to arrange this with you. Please contact the surgery and ask to speak to the Practice Manager to discuss this further and also assist us in looking into this further. Our practice operates an open access policy and we do not discriminate against any patient's medical needs and strive to provide the best possible service to meet individual requirements. |

I have been with this Practice since about 2001 and in all that time I have been treated with respect, Kindness and Consideration at all times all the Doctors take the time to explain all aspects of your treatment and they will try to answer any questions that you may have. I would not hesitate to recommend this Practise to both Family and Friends. |
