Having come across this site, it has given me the courage to talk about this practice. I'm not a person that leaves bad reviews, I'm normally a very positive person however I have been left feel neglected by one of the GPs. I feel the worst I have ever felt in terms of my symptoms, I phoned up and was given a call back from Dr Weir. He did what he has always done, ask what I want to do. I don't know what I need, otherwise I would have carried this out without seeking medical attention, but the big insult, is being asked if I wanted a sick note without even asking any questions, are they just given out like sweets as a way hoping that the problems will pass on their own? If you don't feel that you have the confidence to diagnose, and are hoping that 'rest' will magically sort out the problems then maybe pass it to a specialist who does know more in certain fields. It's way more helpful to people that actually need it then being palmed off without getting the help they needed. Is this doctors safe? From crime, yes. It feels very safe. Would I recommend to a friend? If they care about their health then probably not! I apologise to the other doctors at this practice that do care, and are trying their best, however a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and it's clear where that is here.

The last 6 times i have applied by post for repeat prescriptions i have been told 3 times we never recieved it twice prescription has been issued witnhout doctors signature rendering it invalid and once i recieved back a empty self addressed envelope absolutely disgusting service and when you complain it sudddenly all becomes your fault according to the very hostile receptionist i have been with this doctors 57 years but definetly am leaving worst doctors imaginable
