On having a phone appointment with a male doctor I was spoke to very rude ,I was spoke over and was not given the opportunity to explain how I was feeling the doctor was very passive and seemed annoyed at me just wanting to speak also the phone was put down on me without a polite goodbye as I was trying to speak to him .after coming of the phone I was crying as I was so upset and shocked my sister had only just had a similar situation and had left the practice crying the previous week . Im never steping back or getting care in this practice again and there are lot of people having similar interactions from the Google reviews page I understand that this review won't change things but as a women a man should never talk down or interact that way especially in a care setting I would also like to add this doctor was not j chapella he's a credit to the practice and think alot of the male doctors should learn from the way he is with his patients . |

This practice looks after my wife and I as well as our children grand children and great grand children.
They have served us all well throughout various health crises, affecting all of the family at some point or another. Some very life threatening situations dealt with through excellent care and attention.
Currently my wife is going through a traumatic illness,and we can only thank the doctors and practice who have been excellent throughout.The fact it was an earlier decision to refer by one of the doctors may end up as the life saving decision for my wife.we can only praise them for the help they have given us. Access to a GP appointment is a national problem recognised by all authorities and the responsible media. East Hull is an area of high deprivation and as such GP practices face high demand in circumstances where resources are known to be limited. In the last year the practice has installed a state of the art telephone system and added a prescribing pharmacist and advanced nurse practitioner to add to the availability of appointments. As a result, aside from discredited surveys appearing in certain media, valid surveys reveal significantly increased levels of satisfaction. Our team work exceptionally hard in very difficult circumstances to ensure that urgent cases are seen in an appropriate timescale by a health professional. If the writer would like to contact the management team regarding allegations of rudeness, a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts will be conducted. All calls are recorded and the practice regularly conducts performance audits to ensure high standards are maintained - including protecting our staff from abuse. On a point of fact unless they have successfully applied to have their list closed, all practices have open lists. Whilst new patients are taken on, some leave due to natural movements to other areas and bereavements. As a result, new patients simply maintain the status quo in terms of list size. Our list was reduced due to widespread demolition of housing and has since maintained a static level. |
