My complaint here isn't with the doctor I saw today at Detuyll St because he was very helpful and finally referred me for investigations that it's took seeing 4 doctors to achieve. However my bug bear today was the fact that I had an 8.30am appointment, arrived to very few people in the waiting room yet the doctors seem to barely ever call anyone one in. At 8.30 I would not have expected appointments to be nonchalantly running 30 mins late, this has added 30 mins extra to the time I need to work back to make up for the time spent going to the doctors. For people that work it makes life hard having such large delays on appointments and I just don't understand what causes such a delay at such an early point of the day.

Waiting what seems like forever on the phone for an appointment, then told try tomorrow. This is unacceptable. when I finally get an appointment for pain told basically put up with it .It seems like the Doctors no longer care. I've been with this practice for years and I see it going down hill .

My Father (83 and recovering from brain tumor surgery) drove to the surgery before 8am to get an appointment with GP. Apparently there is no point in calling the surgery as one can not get through!. 2 people were able to secure an appointment today. He was the 3rd person in line and got sent away. He needs to return tomorrow and do this all over again. It is unacceptable that the frail elderly have to try to book an appointment in this manner and get refused without any suitable explanation or kindness shown. As a senior nurse myself I am ashamed thst my Father has to go through this .
