The organisation of this practice requires someone improvement. Firstly the way in which repeat prescriptions are ordered seems to be some what troublesome. The use of the NHS app to order medications is meant to make life easier for patients in our busy lives. Recently every time I’ve needed to order a repeat prescription there have been issues with this stating that I need a medication review despite seeming to have regular reviews. Evidently they can’t seem to update the records correctly. Then receiving text messages stating that one cannot order repeat prescription through the app but by email or coming to the practice. Who has time to do this when they work full time? Secondly I feel there is a breach of trust, some clinicians have given incorrect information that is not in keeping with current guidelines from both NHS England or NICE. It seems unclear why this is the case when other practices locally do not advise the same things. I would however say that the doctors I have seen in the past year have been excellent. I feel that the problem comes from the management side of the practice and leaves a lot to be desired. Better streamlining, efficiency and honesty would improve this practice a lot.
