I developed an abscess in my foot just 2 weeks prior to my holiday. Not only was I able to get an appointment every time I needed one but I found the receptionist went out of her way to help me find an appointment which suited my work hours. The doctors were truly very empathetic and tailored their management plans due to my travel plans. I’m extremely grateful to the doctors for their understanding and timely help. My investigations and treatment were both very prompt and were worked around my convenience. I cannot thank the team enough for all their efforts and help.

Me and my family have been registered with Springfield Road Surgery for at least 30 years and simply cannot fault them. The appointment system works very well, ring at 8.30am for emergency consultation and be seen that same day or book in advance to see a specific doctor. I have rarely, if ever, been unable to see a doctor. When in need of outside treatments such as xrays or hospital referrals, these have been arranged within a matter of days or a few weeks depending on the urgency. Ordering prescriptions is simple and in an emergency, the reception staff are always helpful in trying to arrange a repeat prescription as soon as possible outside the normal working system. The Doctors are all very attentive, sensitive, friendly and helpful and will always take the time to listen and explain things well. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and the surgery is always clean and tidy and the nurses are also good at their jobs and very helpful. The surgery offers many services, some of which I have used in the past and as a teaching practice I am also very happy to have been able to assist in allowing students to sit in on my consultations though this is optional. I cannot imagine a surgery better than this.
