It's not so much the medical staff because they are underpaid and work hard. The problem is there reception staff unhelpful abrupt and think the surgery there's mannerism and manners go a long way while waiting numerous lengths of delay on the telephone

Worst surgery in the UK, certainly the worst I've ever been too and had the displeasure of dealing with. This morning it took me 129 attempts at getting through to them, I have the screenshot and call logs as proof. This happens every single time I try. You'd think for a centrally located surgery they would have 10 phones and 10 people behind them. Not just the 1. When you finally do get through your blanked for 5 mins. Absolute joke of a place. I ordered my medication last week, on time as always (3 days early), when I went to collect it this morning (4 days after ordering) I was then told the doctor hadn't put my medication through, this has happened on 4 occasions now, I therefore rang for clarification and was told by the receptionist that it's actually the Chemist who didn't order them. This is rubbish as the Chemist ordered them on the 29th and has proof. Gateshead Central medical add to your problems, they cause anxiety, stress, frustration and anger amongst other things and not only lie and pass the buck but they put your mental health and physical health in jeopardy by doing so. DO NOT JOIN THIS SURGERY UNLESS YOU WANT EXTRA PROBLEMS
