The service offered by the Skerne Medical Group has deteriorated significantly over recent years - I have been with this practice for 40 years. The professional medical staff are excellent and I have only experienced politeness from the receptionists, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure an appointment in a reasonable time. The latest appointment I made (in January 2024) had a waiting time of six weeks. Things should never get this bad. It is unclear if the ratio of doctors to patients in this practice has declined or whether more patients are asking for more appointments. Either way, this practice is in dire need of additional funding. | |||||||

We have recently moved to the area and the young lady on reception was so welcoming and friendly, unlike our last Dr's in West Yorkshire, hope I don't have to visit very often but feel a bit more at ease now. | |||||||
