I have tried every day this week to do an e consult which has not happened as by 8am they have reached the maximum. Phoning is absolutely pointless as when you finally get through the appointments have gone and we are told to do it again the following day. It’s like being on a hamsters wheel. I truly feel Sorry for the receptionist and although abuse is never acceptable very unwell patients have a low tolerance level.

Phoned the minute the surgery opened at 8am for an 84 Yr old who fell 2 days ago & has hurt her back, only to be told the max number of calls waiting in the queue had been reached & I was being disconnected . Went straight on to econsult to get the message max number of econsults reached for the day & next available requests would be next Tuesday. SHOCKING SERVICE. No wonder the hospitals are overrun because people can't get through to their GPs. Disgusted.

It seems to be an impossible task to get through to the surgery on the telephone. I rang on two separate occasions today, once being No. 1 in the queue, the other being No. 6, on both occasions I was left holding for over 45mins only for the line to go dead. I also tried to access econsult which didn't have a section which I thought to be relevant to my querie, but in desperation I selected a condition, just to go through the process and at least get some response from the surgery, the system however kept on returning to select a condition without me being able to input any information. I would like to add that the medical personnel at this surgery I have always found most helpful and accommodating, unfortunately some of the administrative staff I find a little rude and sometimes dismissive.
