Unfortunately this surgery is not set up to cope with the needs of its patients. It's procedures are old fashioned and there is a barrier in place to stop patients from being able to access services. Procedures and attitudes need to be overhauled asap and staff need to realise that we as patients do have a right to use the NHS, they are not doing us a favour by allowing us through their doors.

I used to have nothing but praises for this surgery when it was run by doctor Murray however since he retired the service has gone down hill. You can never get appointments either buy phone or in person and always told the next appointment is 2-3 weeks away and to call back in the morning only to be told the same thing. Even when your told by your GP to book an appointment and ask for an emergency one they are still unable to get you in leaving you having to wait till after 6:30pm, ring 111 and try to get seen by an out of hours doctor at a hospital which your always able to do but putting more pressure onto hospitals. Its as if there is no longer any duty of care given by some of the reception staff and at times also coming off arrogant on the phone. Such a shame as it used to be a really good practice but now were thinking about changing GP surgeries. I also doubt its because they are stowed off with work because when/if you can get in to see a doctor/nurse they are always empty
