I have not been to see the GP for many years. When I needed to make an appointment it was straightforward to do so via Patient Access online. I could chose when I wanted to attend and the earliest appointment was only about 1 week wait. I made the appointment, turned up to the surgery about 10 mins before my appointment time, checked in on the computer in the waiting area. There was only one other person in the waiting room. I was called by the Doctor exactly at the time of my appointment. He listened to my issue, carried out his examination and provided advice in a polite, friendly and professional manner. He also agreed for me to have blood tests so that I could have a bit of a MOT check up now that I am approaching 40. He was more than willing to make arrangements for me to have blood tests for this purpose. Following my consultation I arranged an appointment with the nurse for blood tests with the helpful receptionist and I was in an out in less than 10 minutes. I would really impressed with all aspects of my appointment.
