I'd gone to the surgery for a routine smear test but when my blood pressure was taken it indicated an irregular pulse. The nurse had a word with the doctor and I had an ECG a couple of hours later. Although the nurse reassured me that it was just routine I know it would have played on my mind if I'd had to wait for the test, particularly as my Mum had had a TIA a few weeks previous - partially linked to atrial fibrillation.
I was very impressed with the speed of everything and would like to say how nice and helpful the nurse was to the extent that she also took a photo of a 'wart' on my foot (which is proving troublesome) to check with the doctor in case it was something more 'sinister' !

I’ve been a patient here 28 years and never have I seen it run so badly, receptionists seem to think they’re the doctors. The actual doctor will only speak to you on the phone or through text and that’s if you manage to catch his call at a random time during the day which they won’t tell you about. Shocking surgery. As stated have been here 28 years but will be leaving ASAP. | |||||||
