I've been with this place my whole life. Before corona I didn't have a single complaint, the reception staff were always helpful, I could book appointments and manage my prescriptions online for the most part. Since corona, however, good luck trying to get anything done here. Nearly every doctor and a lot of the reception staff appears to have left and been replaced with a quickly rotating cast. Exhausting to have to explain an entire medical history to someone new every time. The new reception staff are either well meaning and young and unfamiliar with some things but determined to help, or they simply don't care to help you and you're an annoyance for being there. There's no in-between. You can no longer book an appointment online. They expect either queuing outside the door by 8am (not happening for many of us with physical impairments) or you can ring a phone that hangs up on you or is constantly already engaged for 60+ minutes until you get bored and give up as you know you'll be told there's nothing left by this point. Again, you're treated like an inconvenience when you're finally through to someone. I don't know if the phone staff are instantly on the defensive because anyone they've spoken to by that point has run out of patience but they're often not particularly pleasant to deal with. Nurses and doctors are generally pleasant, personable and very competent on the off chance you manage to see one.

I have been with this doctors for 35 years and have always praised it to everyone, until covid hit. Since then it has gone shocking. I suffer with a chronic illness and other problems along side it. So I should be seeing the same GP every time I go. But for the past 3 years I must of seen 8 different doctors and I'm sick of it going over my illness again and again constantly. Never get any answers what I'm wanting. So looking for another Gp surgery.
