I am finding it increasingly difficult to engage with staff at this practice, albeit the GPs or the receptionists. I do not go very often and try to have as little contact as possible because when I do need to contact them, it always proves to be a stressful experience. I find getting passed the receptionists to be a nightmare as they want to know the 'ins and outs' of everything and when I do eventually get to see a GP, I feel like they are not really listening or interested in hearing what I have to say and they make me feel like I'm wasting their time which is frustrating. On the rare occasions where I have asked for help, my requests have either been ignored or what help I have been offered has been completely inappropriate. Complaining is a waste of time as despite trying to say what I need to say constructively and in a kind manner (I'm a firm believer in treating people the way I'd want to be treated) staff are not receptive to feedback, no matter how constructive and this just adds to the frustration. Sadly, the lack of support I have had from this surgery has meant that I've had to go private but at least I am getting the medical help I need from a lovely doctor who goes that extra mile to help me and is well worth the money. When I'm feeling better, I will be looking to change doctors.

If you want to see a caring doctor do not come here. My daughter with bad anxiety issues was in agony with back problems, walking was very difficult but we got her to the surgery. We were two minutes late and the doctor refused to see her and make a new appointment they would give her a prescription drugs! What has happened to the caring profession? Ask yourself how many times do we get there on time but have to wait and dont do a stroppy.
