Been with this surgery for over 30 years and this past 2 years it has gone downhill fast .... receptionist are very rude.. must say tho the doctors are ok but still not got permanent one been at least 6 different ones in 2 years

I am very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the service we have provided. It is our intention to provide the best service we can to all our patients and we do our best to ensure that patients needs are always met to the best of our abilities. We have had a permanent doctor working at the practice since September 2017 and have had two regular locum doctors working for us since we October 2016, you will appreciate that due to annual leave we have, on occasion, had to use other locums, however we have done our best to ensure that the standard has remained high. I am sorry to hear that you have been dissatisfied with our reception staff and I would like to take the opportunity to address this with you directly. I think people in this country don’t realise how lucky they are having a free NHS service! The manager is wonderful & all the staff have always been lovely & friendly. We don’t live in the best area and with the amount of patients they have to deal with, all the staff are over worked & under a lot of pressure & I think they get a a lot of unfair bad press on here & a lot of people round here like to complain! The locum I’ve seen by has always been a very good listener & helped me a great deal!

Pupose made visit to collect a sick note after being told it woukd d be ready. Not ready again. Sick and tied of recep2staff or cannot work their working days out feed up with felt like a second class citizen at this surgery. It is because they are prejudice towards a run down community i just dont know. They just expect you to work round them constantly. Village medical centre is of a poor, needs improvement service in all areas.get a manage in to sort the reception staff out, they are not a credit to the doctors at this surgery!!!!!!!!!!
