Registed there as soon as I moved in Manchester. The worse mistake of all my life. When you need and appointment you want get it when you need it. If you have an emergency, maybe, you’ll be able to be visited the same day only if you call after 1 and there is space. Obviously to try to do that, you have to be really lucky that someone answers at the phone. I had to wait 25 minutes and called twice to get someone to answer. I have managed to go 3 times. All three, wasting my time as Doctors don’t really help you, don’t really care anyway what do you have, And apparently “has no right” to prescribe anything. Except strong pain killers. Avoid it. Because you’ll end up in the er waiting to be visited from someone.

Awful, rude reception staff. I suffer with COPD, and the excessive use of perfume that is very strong affects my chest terribly. Perfume should not be worn in a medical environment where patients and new born babies are present. What has happened to the staff that were there years ago, Maureen, the practice manager was always smiling and very knowledgeable and fantastic at her job. I can't believe that the 2 family members are still working there, the old one is so, so rude and I have heard the way she speaks to patients, it's about time she retired. Nicky is the only member of staff that goes above and beyond to help, she is lovely. The practice has really fell below standards since Dr Randhawa retired, Elaine the Practice nurse and Maureen the practice Manager has left. I have recently left after 35 years of being with this joke of a practice and I have to say, it has been the best move to actually be registered with a Practice that actually cares (genuinely and not fake) as does RK Medical the CQC should close it down.
