Moved to the area recently and was apprehensive about finding a new doctor. I need not have worried. I have found the reception staff here to be efficient, helpful and lovely. I phoned up, had no trouble getting through, got an appointment when I needed one, was seen by the doctor who did not prescribe medication I did not need and answered the numerous questions I gave him. So glad I chose this surgery and it was recommended to me highly by neighbours too. Well done and sincere thanks!

In my experience the doctors and nurses at Gatley Green/ Northenden have been fantastic, kind, friendly and down to earth. The challenge with the surgery is the appointment system - you can only book on the day appointments rather than advance ones. This is really difficult to fit around a working day as I can't inform work in advance that I'll need an hour out of the office or what time it will be. Furthermore it's next to impossible to get through on the phone to book an appointment because everybody is trying to call at 8am when the surgery opens. I only live 5 minutes away and often I go in person at 8am because I know how hard it is to get through on the phone and I want to guarantee that I'll actually get an appointment on the day I want one because there isn't an option to pre-book. It's a real shame as I've always found the staff to be excellent.
