My parents had to change surgery from Waterside to Lambeth Street Surgery due to Waterside closing. I only wish we'd gone to Lambeth Street years ago. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Both my parents had to see the Nurse to go through their medical history etc.. The Nurse went through their medical history and answered any questions in a professional and friendly manner. My mother then had a further appointment with one particular doctor to go over a few queries and he explained things to us in a clear way so that we could understand what was going on rather than in medical jargon. This particular doctor spent time with us and we didn't feel rushed to get through the appointment. I cannot rate the surgery highly enough. Just one more point - the surgery itself is very clean and bright and has a good atmosphere. There is plenty of parking.

As a person who deals with many surgeries in my day to day job- I know what to expect when dealing with GP receptionists, trying to get appointments, prescriptions etc. and understand the bad reputation alot of surgeries and receptionists have with patients. However, I have to say everyone at this surgery from the receptionists to drs to nurses are polite, professional, knowledgeable and show that they genuinely care, unlike many surgeries nowadays. The practice always feels calm and organised when in the waiting room and the facilities are of a good standard. On a couple of occasions when trying to get appointments, specific receptionists have gone above and beyond to fit me in leaving me with a feeling that the surgery cares about your health.
