My daughter submitted a review of this medical practice on behalf of her father and I. This review gave the practice two stars. If I could award this practice NO stars I would. I cannot tell you how frustrating and anxiety producing it is to try to access medical care after major surgery. No account has been taken of the scary nature of this surgery or the toll it has taken on both of us. We are elderly and unversed in the nature of modern technology and this leaves us marginalised and vulnerable. This GP practice used to be one of the very best, but it is a long time since you could use that description of it. It is a business…nothing to do with serving the patients

What do you have to do to get an appointment with a Doctor at this Practice? Someone tell me please. Mt father has just been discharged from Blackpool Victoria after open heart surgery. His discharge letter requests a GP review 1-2 weeks after discharge. My mother tried to organise this yesterday with absolutely no success. She was told that a pharmacist would contact her to do a medicine review on the drugs my father is taking. These were prescribed by the cardiologist at Blackpool, not by the GP. If a Consultant Cardiologist requests a Post op review by a GP, but the practice offers a pharmacist to review the patient, what does that say about the practice. It is beyond frustrating, it is dangerous.

It is impossible to get an appointment at this place, this morning I was checking the GP app every 5 minutes from 6am, I don’t think anyone actually knows what time these are uploaded, anyway no joy kept checking until 8am and just said no appointments had been released, so I called them at 8am, on hold for 45 minutes, no GP appointments left told to call back tomorrow, this has happened to me before tried for 3 days and couldn’t get an appointment, had to call 111 in the end, the booking system is broken and not fit for purpose, unfortunately I’ll be moving our family from this surgery.
