On finally getting through to the surgery, I was spoken to by a male receptionist, who was rude, abrupt and quite frankly shocking. He offered no help, told me my problem was not important enough to warrant an appointment and to take some painkillers. I know this individual has worked her for a while. I also know that his mum is the practice manager.. clearly why he gets away with that type of attitude. I am a cancer patient and he needs more training - although a did hear from another disgruntled patient that he is the office manager! Wonder why???

I phoned up at 08.00hrs on the dot. Was 16th in the que after 40 minutes on hold was told they have no appointments for today. I asked why and was told because of pre booked appointments, asked if I could have one of them, they have none for 2 weeks. WHY has every other industry gone back to normal apart from GP’s? I thought doctors took an oath to help people. I could understand if I rang late in the day but I phoned the very second the line opened and only 15 people before me.
