Excellent surgery, caring staff always get an appointment, nothing is too much trouble

I have been a patient at this doctors surgery all of my life, and luckily I have not had to attend very often but the times that I have have been mainly good care, with the exception of one experience which I have previously mentioned. However, recently I have received truly outstanding care from one of your staff members who went out of her way to help and reassure me with finding out some results for me. I called the surgery to chase up my smear test results which I had been waiting for over 2 weeks, so I was just a little concerned about the whereabouts of my results and was seeking some reassurance. I firstly spoke with the receptionist who passed me on to another member of staff, who instantly put me at ease and promised to find out my results for me. After having an 'abnormal' test result last year, I was worried my results would come back the same so the longer I waited, the more anxious I became. The member of staff promised to call me back once she had more information, and she did call me back at the end of the day with the results I was waiting for. During the phone call, she explained everything so well to me and took her time to go through each detail of my results. Thankfully, this time my results were not 'abnormal' so I was so relieved to find this out, and also felt quite overwhelmed by their efforts to ensure she got back to me with my results. She really went out of her way for me, and for that I am very grateful indeed. I am unfortunately no longer a patient at this surgery now due to moving away from the area, but I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery to my friends and family, and would most definitely return to this surgery if my circumstances change in future. Thank you, you really did make a difference to me during quite an anxious time. Rachel :)

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel I cannot praise this surgery enough. I have been with this surgery for many many years and have never not been able to see a doctor on the day I have telephoned for an appointment. The staff on reception are pleasant and helpful. The doctors are all so lovely, caring and friendly, and nothing is a problem who I have been seeing lately as a follow up to my condition. We feel as a family we are so lucky to be with this surgery This surgery deserves 5 stars
