I have always had an excellent service from all the staff at Culcheth medical practice. It is better then any G.P I have been to before. All the staff are pleasant and polite and the patient is their priority and nothing is too much trouble. The doctors are knowledgeable, efficient and have a caring manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending the practice and feel it is a very patient focused practice. My family considers ourselves myself lucky to have such a good G.P. practice in the village. I went into the surgery with a monthly repeat prescription to treat my severe depression and panic attacks, I had messed up the dates and needed my prescription done today as I had ran out, the staff who deals with the prescription was extremely rude and wouldn’t help me saying it’s my fault and there’s nothing she can do and didn’t try at all, wouldn’t even consider asking a doctor. I really struggle with my mental health and just needed help, I am now going to be without my medication for 4 days because that’s the earliest I can get back due to work. I am now going to go through withdrawal symptoms and struggle even more. I will be leaving the surgery soon because I made a mistake and was treated horribly because of it. Staff has no heart at all. It’s already been 24 hours without my medication and will be another 3 days till I can get another dose | |||||||

I have been registered at this practice for over 35 years so have seen many changes but I can honestly say that the current staff team are amongst the best I have encountered. The staff who answer the phones and those on reception are so professional and courteous that I never worry about phoning, unlike times in years gone by when I have felt quite fearful ! I am fortunate to have fairly good health so do not need to make regular visits but all the doctors and nurses I have seen during the past 2 years or so have been helpful and appeared not to be rushing, despite the time pressures they must be under. The 'old days' of being able to see the same doctor every time, often at very short notice, are long gone but I appreciate the effort being made by the current staff to offer a good service.
