The surgery will not book any appointments in advance therefore you cannot book to see a particular GP even if they have seen you about a similar complaint before. I was told to queue outside the surgery in a morning from 8:00 and then I would be ale to see my requested GP on that day. This is what I did. I queued from 8:00 and at 8:11 when I got to the front of the queue I was told that the doctor I wanted to see hadn't got any appointments left. I was told that I could see another doctor but not the one that I wanted to see. I gave up and returned home. This surgery is not flexible or user friendly at all. They operate a Victorian system for appointments where you have to queue up outside for an appointment. They obviously have too many patients and cannot cope with demand. They make it as difficult as possible to make an appointment and hope you either give up trying or register with another surgery. Which is what I intend to do asap.

went down to book appointment told you have to phone @8am told them i have no access to to a phone @ that time and was told you can not have a appointment not the most help full people

Rang yest for appointment was told 100 in line and all appointments had gone at 8am if I needed to see a gp if I que outside at 730 I may get a appointment what a joke Carnt remember last time I actually got in to see a gp it's ridiculous withamore is the same why don't they have 2 seperate telephone numbers so u can book in both surgery rather than going through aw it never used to be like this it's that bad I'm changing gps
