I have been a patient with this practice for the last 7 years . Things have definitely deteriorated. It is extremely difficult to get through to the surgery via telephone . The telephone lines open at 8.15am. But the chances of getting through to the receptionist is slim to none. At one time when I’ve tried to get through I was number 98 in the queue!! Finally having got through I was given a telephone appointment- Dr GP decided that it was better that I came into the practice and asked me to make my way to the practice . When I arrived the practice was basically dead quiet . I am extremely disappointed with the service , if you are fortunate to get through via phone, the appointments are usually all taken and the receptionist will ask you to call again the next morning at 8.15am. You could easily call the practice all week and either not get through or by the time you do , there are no available appointments . ?? | |||||||

Every time I have to ring the doctor I get anxious, remembering what an ordeal it used to be at my previous surgery. It's a completely different experience here. The receptionists are fabulous, speak to you like you're a human being, and put themselves out to help. The doctors I've spoken to are absolutely amazing. They're really lovely and seem to actually care about their patients. It's a long time since I've had anything good to say about my old surgery. I'd never go back now. I LOVE the Poplars! | |||||||
