I don’t even call now as I cannot deal with how rude the practice manager is. Talks over you refuses a call with the doctor tells you to go to walk in centre when you have already stated you are not able to get there Why does she still have a job

Practice manager once again rude, dismissive and seems to go out of her way to be unhelpful. I will be making an official complaint to NHS England this time.

Been with this surgery for years and the is amazing as are all other doctors and nurses here. The problem with this surgery began during covid where a new person took over all telephone calls. This lady is rude and condescending and quite frankly I would like to know where she got her medical degree as the questions she does ask are not appropriate for someone of a receptionist level. Every time I call I dread speaking to her and have developed anxiety about needing to call the gp. I have called and left messages for my GP, which were never received. I have needed to wait for the GP to call regarding other things to raise these issues with her. When trying to order my 14 year olds meds, I was told that they needed to give permission for me to talk on their behalf. When you explain that your blood pressure is up, you have seen the Livi doctors, who say you need to see your GP, yet you are asked how you know your blood pressure is high. Or even when you have seen the walk-in drs who say that they do not understand why your child was referred there when they have a long standing condition that needs to be seen by their own GP. These practices waste all the NHS provisions provided to relieve pressure in the NHS. Long standing issues should be dealt with by your GP as only they can make relevant referrals. Oh and this lady will say that if the walk in centre say that you need to see your own GP, that the GP will receive a message and will call you.. The walk in doctors I have seen have stated that they have no ability to alert the GP to you needing an appointment. Perhaps patients should start recording their conversations with this practice manager to prove just how horrid she is and how rude she can be as it seems from other reviews people are being told their experience is not correct
