After waiting over 14mths for steroid injections for arthritis in my knees at the longton surgery Due to covid which i fully understood i had a call from the surgery with an appointment fir 5th may unfortunately it was cancelled due to something to do with the surgery it would be sorted within the next week i was told the doctor was on holiday the following week i would be contacted in the next few weeks ,i left it approximately 4 weeks rang back only to be told i wasn't on any list ,I asked to speak to the manager Ruth Matthews ,i was told i would get a call in a few days heard nothing for 3 days spoke to receptionist she put me on hold came back and said i was now back on this list ,As of today 12th July i still haven't heard anything from the manager absolutely disgusting i have been with this surgery for almost 25yrs

I had to leave the Haymarket medical centre over 12 months ago because of the terrible treatment by Dr Aw I was having really bad back pain and couldn’t get a face to face appointment all I was offered was a telephone appointment how you can assess someone over the phone is beyond me when I did get a face to face appointment he didn’t get off his chair turned out I had spinal stenosis picked up by my new doctor if you value your health stay away from Dr AW
