The NHS website moderation team Our Surgery I have been a patient of what used to be the Queen Anne Street practise and now Norfolk Street Health Centre, for 54years. All my family have been treated here. Obviously in that time some of the beautiful Staff and Doctors have retired and good luck to them all. However a few of the original staff remain, The Receptionist, Managers and their lovely team of girls in reception and admin.... Plus we now have a formidable team of GP's, who are equal in their generosity of time, understanding, support and investment. They listen and care. All the staff can't give anymore than they do. There are only so many hours in a day.. My experience with all my dealings with our Doctors is I have always been treated with respect, dignity and support and if I have needed to be seen I have been. We should be grateful to all these people and services that we take for granted, yes we pay our contributions but the service we receive are outstanding. Be grateful you don't have to walk 40 miles to see the nearest Doctor. I love them, respect and I am very grateful for everything that every single member of staff does for me, my opinion has been the same and I'm sure all the old patients feel the same way.

From the moment or trying to register to now there have been zero positive experiences with this practice. Firstly the layout of the practice is confusing with three practices working out of the same building. None of the self check in screens worked, and you had to go upstairs to tell the receptionist you were there and then go and wait back downstairs. I got it wrong my first few try’s and the receptionists were horrible and rude! I took in a sample which they never gave me an update on, they lost my paperwork for my disabled students allowance and kept me on hold for 16 minutes whilst they were looking for it. Then I had an appointment and I called to confirm and they said the appointment wasn’t on the system! Today I’ve tired to call because I need my migraines assessing, I rang at 9am on the dot and got through to a woman who asked if she could put me on hold. Six minutes later she said what do you want I said an appointment I told her what for and she said all of the appointments had gone, six minutes after opening! I will definitely be moving somewhere else this practice in a nutshell is rude, incompetent and unprofessional.
