Dreadful GP surgery! Virtually impossible to get through via telephone, waiting of over an hour over 2 days and still no luck. When and if you do get through, you're told sorry no more triage calls, phone back tomorrow at 8.00am or 2.00pm ! What a shambles! It is no wonder the already useless 111 service is jammed up and A&Es are at bursting capacity when you get GP surgeries unable to cope and Jo doubt still taking in new patients!

It is almost impossible to book an appointment at the shifnal medical practice. The latest let down now is that you can't just call and book an appointment at any time. This does not matter if you are happy to wait weeks for an appointment either! Now to book an appointment you have to call at 8.00am ( this is the only time) then speak to a triage nurse. If calling at 8.00am is not possible then you don't really have an alternative .They really go out of there way to put you off seeing the doctors in Shifnal!

This practice is not fit for purpose, and are genuinely putting lives at risk!! My Grandmother had a mini stroke some four years ago now, and was told upon release from hospital that she would be contacted within two weeks for a follow up check and some bloods. She is still waiting!! There have been another couple of hospital stays and during the latest one, they changed her medication. The practice was sent all the necessary details to update the prescription. My Grandfather collected the next prescription directly from the practice. They had correctly removed the changed meds, but not added the new, pretty critical ones. So it meant another journey to the practice to rectify. Not so much as a murmur of apology. Also, some three months on, my Grandmother is STILL waiting for an urgent review, that the hospital said she must have after two weeks. You are a disgrace!!
