I had to make a decision to leave this Medical Practice After 40 Years as a Patient. I have been treated Extremely Poorly, Ubruptly with No Communication Skills & Lack of Clinical Experience. A Doctor, whom I thought knew my Medical History & understood it, showed no Empathy Nor Compassion!!!. Yet a Senior Doctor "Apparently" knows more, about Neck & Back issues & decided a joint Consultation would be beneficial, I think a "Professor" would know much more than a Senior GP! Having been through Major Surgery via a "Professor" whom also Failed to carry out the Surgical Procedure as too high risk of paralysis ! I have Been in Chronic Pain for many Years. I have attended many Chronic Pain Clinics over many years & endured all Pharmaceutical & further invasive treatments for this... With further Complex Medical issues caused by the NHS, it's no wonder I have trust issues within the Medical Profession! The Older More Experienced Reception, Dispensary, Nursing & Secretarial Staff are the back bone behind this Practice & I can't thank them enough. Other New Reception Staff need desperate further training on how to treat Patients with Respect, rather than being Abrupt, as this clearly shows their Lack of Experience. My advice to other Patients is do not be afraid to request a Second Opinion. Don't be afraid of making a Complaint to NHS England. Wow 40 Years & had to make a decision to leave them, it was NOT an easy decision to do nor take lightly....
