I'm advised to get an appointment to see my doctor by a pharmacist so try to set one up. The booking system involves ringing the surgery, and waiting to get through to receptionist, to then get a time for a doctor to call you back to set up an appointment to see them. However I did this and never received a call back. They either missed me - strange because I stayed at my desk all afternoon, or never repeated. 2-3 weeks passed as I way away and then I called on Wednesday of one week and they offered me a call back on the Monday of the following week, and they can't specify a time. At this rate it is pretty difficult to get an appointment! They won't take details and communicate by email. Appalling system. | |||||||

I, my husband and my family have been patients of this practice for almost thirty eight years, and I have no hesitation in recommending that newcomers to the town register with St Peter's Road surgery. I have been cared for by various staff from pregnancy to retirement, and my children were always happy to visit for their care until moving away from home. The practice continues to move with the times, and always strives to provide the most up to date equipment and care.
