Nurses brilliant, helpful, friendly, courteous, five star service. Shame about the rest of the practice, the doctors and receptionists don't appear to be able to cope with the population of Sidmouth. Is it perhaps time there was another separate practice for the town?

Do not attend here if you are in need of the minor injury unit. I turned up with a bleeding foot and deep gash, as this was nearest MIU to the location I was staying. I was turned away as I wasn't staying in the catchment area according to the receptionist (despite being less than 20mins away). My understanding is that all MIU should accept patients irrespective of catchment area. The NHS website also says that anybody over 2yrs old can attend irrespective of any caveats. There is no consideration for patient welfare and more focus on policy and red tape. It came across as the receptionist look delight in turning me away. Avoid at all costs.
