I have been a patient with this practice for 12 years in total. I chose them because when I walked into the reception area for the first time I was acknowledged with a smile from the receptionist who was busy on the phone . This always happens at this practice. I have always been offered an appointment when needed and given a txt reminder . All the Drs I have seen have been pleasant and helpful. My various minor accidents have been quickly and efficiently dealt with , the last one requiring urgent attention during a busy surgery with a crowded waiting room , I needed a room so I could elevate my leg to stop the bleeding . All dealt with with a smile and good dressing technique by the practice nurse. I have during the years required 2 referrals , both done quickly . From the Practice Manager to the HCAs everyone I have met has been pleasant and efficient.

I have moved to this practice after nearly 25 years at a practice in Surrey. In every single respect, this surgery is different. The reception staff could not be more friendly, helpful and efficient. At my GP appointment today (which started at exactly the time I was booked in for), I experienced 25 minutes of appointment time with the most delightful GP who listened with interest, was sympathetic and who genuinely wanted to help. In Surrey I was used to being rushed through a five-minute appointment that I ordinarily had to wait at least half an hour past the allocated slot for. I'm sure that actually the staff in Surrey are nice, caring people too. They are, however, spectacularly over stretched and worn out, and unfortunately, the knock-on effect is that patients are made to feel like they are a nuisance. Here in Seaton is the finest example of a medical practice working as it should and caring for its patients. I am delighted to be a patient here.

I requested a telephone appointment with a doctor and when I spoke to the doctor, she was fantastic - very caring and reassuring. She advised a face to face appointment with a doctor whom I saw today. Again, a brilliant service. I was treated with respect and listened to. My appointment did not feel rushed and the doctor was very sensitive to my needs. Highly recommended.
