The standard of clinical care here is fine once you are in front of a doctor, however getting to that point is no easy task. The administration team is equally rude in person or on the phone, the appointment book is long and the apparent plan to deal with the long wait times is to direct patients to hospitals A and E rather than see a GP. I cannot stress enough how rude the administration staff are, please do not be surprised if you ignore this warning and go there in person. The team aggressively pursues that path so you are left feeling frustrated over minor issues and at risk when you have a serious complaint. Even when the advice from 111 is to get a call from the GP clinician you are referred to A and E without advice and are often told we don't work for 111. A very poor experience and I would not recommend this surgery to you or your family.

For some reason, receptionists and the AskMyGP messaging service seems unable to give my the results of a recent HbA1c test for blood glucose. Each time I've asked I've either had no direct reply to a direct question, or I've been told I need to wait in triage for my GP to call back. This is not acceptable. Several years ago I was able to obtain an HbA1c result directly over the counter from the receptionist, and I do not see why this excellent system seems to have been changed.
