I enrolled my Dad at this practice as he has dementia, and I did not think the care he was getting from his old doctors was good enough. The doctors and staff here have been brilliant, patient and totally understanding. Without this practice I do not know how the family would have coped. I cannot thank you enough for all your help I think some reviews are poor as this is clearly a busy surgery, but a doctor speaks to you on the phone and that is often as good and in my opinion easier. Parking as weird and that is something else people moan about, but if they did not have this scheme then it would be unlikely that patients woudl ever be able to park. These facts have no bearing on the brilliance of teh doctors and staff I will never change doctors again, the best, Thank you.

It’s a somewhat unfair fact, that the general public is quick to complain but slow to give praise when it is deserved! I feel strongly about this, so I am writing to tell you of my experience with staff at Air Balloon Surgery a few days ago. I had booked a holiday to take my elderly brother and his wife, who both have learning difficulties, on their first holiday abroad next January! They wanted to take their first flight in an aeroplane! I have spent 4 frustrating months trying to obtain their first passports. Once they were issued, I then had to obtain medical insurance. More frustration and many hoops to jump through with the amount of questions I had to answer, the repeated phone calls was staggering, leaving me mentally exhausted. As a result of the numerous answers that the insurance company required, I was feeling very stressed and frustrated when I phoned the surgery and got through to reception, in about 15 seconds! Unbelievable!!! The receptionist was so helpful, she was so patient and understanding I could have kissed her! She made my day answering so many of my questions! She said she would get a doctor to phone me back with the medical answers that I required. I was still on the phone with her, when the doctor attempted to get through to me! How efficient is that! Within 30 seconds of finishing my call, a Doctor phoned me!!! He was so helpful and couldn’t have done more, again he was the epitome of understanding. He answered everything that I needed to know to pass on to the insurance company. I can’t believe the wonderful help I received that day. I had gone from pulling my hair out to the opposite side of the pendulum in quick succession. To say I finished euphoric is a completely understating of my feelings; I felt so, so relieved! Well done to the team at Air Balloon. I am so grateful for their professional help and consideration. It made me so happy and very appreciative in the help I received. My score for the service I received is 100/10, FAN-TAS-TIC to the extreme! Anyone who is a career or has Power of Attorney for a loved one, will undoubtedly know the frustrations that you inevitably have to go through. Staff at Air Balloon Surgery, certainly make dealing with medical issues as easy as it can be. Many thanks to everyone, you are greatly appreciated. I am sorry for the repeated use of exclamation marks, I could have used more.

I cannot praise highly enough the help and support I receive from everyone at the surgery and pharmacy and especially Sally in IT who saved my sanity with her help and patience. We are very lucky to be part of such a helpful caring cheerful team of lovely people. Jean and John Hickery
