I am writing because I am so impressed with the Dr. I arrived with my father as a new patient of the Dr. who has Parkinson's and dementia. We were at crisis point and the Dr. was calm and compassionate with the correct level of empathy. She delt with the situation in a suburb manner, organising the tests needed and referrals to speciality clinics. She was able to take control of his medication and needs. She went well above and beyond her expected role as a GP and has a natural talent with people. | |||||||

Our elderly mother was very unwell which warranted a home visit. The GP came the same day and treated our mother with the up most respect and included her in any decision making with her onward referral to EMU. Could not fault the treatment received by the GP of the EMU department at Witney Hospital. | |||||||

As a whole the majority of the staff at Woodstock surgery are caring attentive people. I was assigned to be a patient of a doctor and I have to say unless it is an emergency situation I will do everything in my power to never see him again. He refused to look me in the eye. He talked at his computer screen and did not perform a physical examination. If he can not stand to treat females with the respect and proper care that is part of his job he should consider a different career or specialize in male specific illnesses. He needed to put in a referral for treatment and did not do so. I had to make repeated calls and visits to get the referral through. | |||||||
