Nurses absolutely lovely. Avoid Dr H - aggressive and judgemental. I don’t think you’re supposed to come away from a phone conversation feeling incensed. Told off for interrupting her - actually quite shocked after thinking just how rude she was. So unnecessary.

I have only been with this GP practice for about a year but they have more to help me than all my previous GP practices. My doctor has shown kindness, sympapthy , understanding and a determination to help me in any way she can. I would not hesitate to reccommend this doctor/practice to anyone with a similar condition.

I am disappointed in the lack of respect from the reception staff and the lack of appointments or knowledge from the reception staff of how serious situations can be. Today I rang to make a FACE TO FACE appointment with the doctors, my partner has had an on going issue which could cause serious harm to himself, I rang a few weeks back and the next appointment was in a months time. So I rang again and several times after that to try slot him in as his condition was getting worse, the receptionist had no care in the world and just said nope no appointments. So today I rang as its got to the point where even driving has become difficult. When I rang at 10:48 am, the receptionist stopped me half way threw my sentence and said “what’s his name. I’ll put him on the emergency call back” I was going to go on to say he needs to see someone in person as it’s a waste of time for a phone call due to the circumstances but no the receptionist decided for myself what she wanted. I felt belittled and let down by a practice I should feel comfortable going too.

We are sorry that this patient was disappointed with the service she and her partner received when she contacted the surgery recently. Our triage system ensures that a GP makes the decision regarding the urgency of treatment required for a patient, rather than the patient or a member of staff who is a non-clinician having to make this decision. If a GP thinks the patient needs to be seen that day, s/he will arrange an appointment for that day. This patient's feedback is very helpful to us because it enables us to identify learning needs; however, if she would like to contact the surgery directly to give us more information about her experience, this would enable us to target our training to those who have the greatest need.
