Asked receptionist why I needed to see GP face to face to be referred to midwife, answer ‘because that’s how it’s done’. Think they needed a bit more training! And I didn’t need to see the GP, I had a telephone appointment as I originally requested.

It doesn’t matter which doctor I use in this practice, I get the same professional treatment. They take time to listen without you ever feeling they are trying to get you out of the door. The building is modern and inviting and appointments generally run to time. The online service enables you to easily book appointments and order repeat prescriptions. I couldn’t ask for more.

Registered at this surgery a year ago with my husband after moving to the area. Rarely attend Gp but both times positive, no wait for appointments and have just had a knee replacement. Thank you. My dad aged 83 always been fit and is usually a visitor to the surgery with my mum. Last year had a problem which seemed to resolve itself and my dad is not keen to " make a fuss" . Despite this the Gps were determine to find out what the problem was and referred him ( much to his annoyance) for numerous tests. Finally he has been diagnosed with three blocked arteries, one blocked at 99% and needs a bypass in Oxford. A heart attack or stroke waiting to happen !!. Thank you so much for your perseverance in finding out what was wrong especially the last lady Gp who re referred him , on this occasion for an angiogram. Cannot thank you enough.
