Similar to above review, had to see GP in order to recieve repeat perscription, however not notified that a medicine review was needed. Attended surgery, booked in and waited for 30mins. Spoke to receptionist who informed me GP was running behind and to wait. I had another appointment that i was going to miss so informed reception i needed perscription but would have to cancel app. 2 other people also walked out prior to my enquiry. As i was about to leave GP called my name. He was confused as to why i was there. Very difficult to converse with him as we could not understand each other. Informed me chemist had perscription and dismissed me. 4minutes in total!!! Med review...no! God help us.

Please tell me how to get an appointment. Ring dead on 8am and the msg says queue full please try later. I am on chronic pain and getting no relief with medication prescribed. Seen student and told I need scan which is not happening till God knows when Need to see doctor to help me manage pain. I know I have arthritis and I know treatment which was previously given

Very first telephone appointment after new registration attempt leaving me feeling unwell. Not caring and responsible at all. The doctor didn't know why he was calling me. After a mutual yes from both sides he explained he was told to call me. I them explained I am a potential new patien, medication etc. Started with the 1st medication and he stopped me there and then. Will have to have this checked by a specialist. He didn't know the drug at all obviously as GP not his field of expertise as I had to spell the name for him. I explained there is a 2nd drug for the same condition, he didn't listen to me or even get to discuss this. Surprise, there was a 3rd as well never got that far. Surprise there is a 4th ! He got stuck on the 1st!!. Completely insensitive as he obviously didn't study my record beforehand. I was left shaking anxious my very caring employers thought it in my best interest to go home and rest. The point is the GP was 1. uninformed when he called me 2. No background , no record although I had filled out my form 3. He dismissed the information I was trying to give him about my medication, obviously he didn't have the records, I had the prescription 5. He was extremely insensitive, I asked him 4 times to end the conversation as I am getting extremely stressed, his answer was ' I do not understand why?...check the record. Please make sure I'm am allocated a senior doctor on future.
