Exceptionally rude receptionists. It's much too hard to get help when you need it. Regular muddles with prescriptions. |

I have been at this practice for 14yrs and I have seen this practice go from being the best to being the worst now. Staff are rude there seems to be this hard sell of online service. Which is ineffective and does not work. They do not listen and constantly talk over you like as if they are brainwashed but in fact its an inherent rude behaviour. Though I am not surprised because the practice manager is equally as rude and illusive most incompetent woman I have ever come across. That is assuming you can find her. I have taken to writing to the GP sadly he does not always get my letters. Today I telephoned simply because I need some medication for hay fever. I have suffered terribly over the weekend with tree pollen and they generally will not prescribe until you have a review with the GP. I needed clarification but of course as is normal I didn’t get the opportunity to ask the question. I am having a spine operation next week and have been advised not to take certain medications from today. I need professional advice but sadly I will have to go it alone and guess what I have to do. I have been alone through out the process. The GP practice as a whole continues to fail me. No one should join this practice unless you want to die before your time. Apparently I have several tumours and growths in my head and neck. But no one has spoken to me about them. I have asked my GP to write to the consultants. I am now fed up so I have given up chasing. I suppose again what will be will be. I am exhausted with it all. I ask you to tread careful when you choose this practice. |

My family have been with Watling Vale for around 33 years and have always found the GP’s to be very efficient and caring. The nurses are always helpful. Sometimes the reception staff have been a little less pleasant but people would do well to remember that these are stressful times. When we need to see a GP, we always want to see them immediately, sadly those days are gone for everyone. In the recent pandemic things have been difficult but I think they’ve managed the practice very well considering… |
