I phoned to make a very simple request for my prescription to be amended in order to access the life saving medication in a different dosage as the original dose medication is is not available due to lack of supply caused by Brexit. I have taken time and lots of effort to explain what needed, however, the receptionists were unable to take the information in. They were not listening and they were often interrupting while I tried to explain what pharmacy needs in order to access this crucial medication. Words such as ‘love, darling or dear’ have been frequently used, which is highly inappropriate in a professional setting. My prescription finally arrived to the requested pharmacy but it wasn’t done in the way the pharmacist could help me to obtain this crucial allergy lifesaver. I am very disappointed with Burmahill administration and their ineffective and unhelpful way of working which does not reflect awareness that they are a dealing with people who are unwell and deserve to be served in a prompt, effective and respectful manner.
