Whilst undestanding the pressures on GP and reception staff, the surgery offers little appointment booking flexibility and reception staff are utterly intractable. Sameday appointment booking is helpful, unless you work an hour away from home and have small children who need to be seen. It's sometimes hard to judge when/if an appt is necessary for little ones, but the system of calling before 10am to possibly get a same day appt does not work in conjuction with needing to assess whether you can manage work/school/childcare expections. As per other reviews, frequently the phone system does not work or the queues jump. Recently held in a queue for 15 minutes (after reguarly having the call terminated with the 'please call back later' message, got through at 1007hrs to be superciliously told 'We ask people to call between 8 and 10 for a same day appointment, our routine appts are now fully booked'. Thank you and goodbye. It could have been a robot for all the empathy and compassion NOT present in the tone of voice. As a result, my 4 year old who has been unwell for 4 days will need to wait until we go through the same rigmarole tomorrow, or I take her to Brants Bridge and wait for 4 hours or failing that go to A&E and waste everyone's time. Or I could of course call 111 who send out an ambulance every time, even when advised it's really not necessary. NHS staff are superb and so hardworking, but administrative staff put so many barriers in the way with the lack of common sense and compassion. Will be moving practice after 11 years of being at the Binfield Surgery.

This GP Practice is totally overwhelmed with the number of patients and my medical history has, as a result, been littered with a catalogue of errors that I am struggling uphill to get cleaned up and removed. Senior partners have offered advice to my face, only to subsequently lie about ever offering the advice such that they save costs on medication.
