I was very pleased with my visit today with my 3 year old son. He is normally tearful after a long day at nursery, so you can imagine my worry taking him for his immunisations. But the staff were lovely, putting my son in a great mood. The lovely nurse took very good care with my son, making sure he was comfortable and distracting him during the jabs and had him laughing away. It’s nice coming away from the doctors knowing that my child won’t be traumatised by his experience, instead he is happy and he got stickers! Very, very happy patients. | |||||||

In my opinion, this Practice is outstanding. Always get an appointment after brief chat with Nurse Practitioner. Doctors very efficient and assuring always pointing you in right direction if further investigations needed. With a problem today I saw the Doctor at 9.30am, then sent for Xray at Thatcham. In the evening I had a Prescription Review with the Nurse Practitioner and she kindly fitted me in for an ECG at short notice, very accommodating. The friendly Receptionists add to the smooth running of the Surgery. Such service and always with a smile. Over the years with a few health problems that my husband and I experienced we cannot fault the speed and professionalism of all the Staff there. | |||||||

The Westwood Road surgery is simply excellent. This is mainly due to the staff. The people on reception are happy, pleasant, polite and understanding. The nurses are caring, sympathetic and smart; and the doctors are incredibly helpful, and highly effective at communicating. I hope I haven't left anyone out because this only works if everyone is great.
The environment as a whole feels right. It feels safe, it feels comfortable, you just get the feeling that everyone there wants to help. The surgery is such an important part of a local community, and it plays its part extremely well. Everyone who works there should feel extremely proud of the difference they are making to individuals and to the community as a whole.
