I have been a patient at the surgery for nearly 30 and have generally been happy with the service.I use the electronic prescription service as it is convenient for me and the pharmacy.I was bemused when one of my medications was deleted.I checked the website of the surgery to see if there was any information. I checked the electronic request page to see if there was any information and saw nothing....I am not psychic and therefore rang the surgery wasting my and the polite receptionists time. I think as a patient if the surgery decides to make a change we as patients should receive the courtesy of knowing why?I try to visit the surgery as little as possible to leave appointments available for the elderly and those in greater need.This means I would have no occasion to look at any posters displayed and in flu season go to the pharmacist instead so as not to clog up the waiting room.I suggest for other patients who may experience a similar thing that a communication is placed clearly electronically in an easy to find place.

I would just like to say thank you all for being so efficient yesterday when I walked in and asked if my daughter could be seen because of a swollen ankle following an insect bite. I was not expecting to be seen on the day but walked in at 4pm advised to come back at 4.30pm we got back at 4.20pm were seen almost straight away by the paramedic who was very helpful and informative and agreed that there was an infection and arranged a prescription for antibiotics. Thank you all for being so helpful and efficient in what must be a difficult time for you at the moment with the IT changes that are going on it is greatly appreciated - keep up the good work
