Excellent service. Lovely friendly staff always willing to help. The timings on here and information isn’t accurate - they’re open 8-6.30pm and provide travel NHS vaccines (I had a good service with the nursing team) not travel health but I found out my travel information myself. I would highly recommend this Practice. | |||||||

Absolutely awful. I spoke to 111 who said I needed to get an appointment ASAP with my GP. So I called up at 8am on the dot as I always do only to have the phone call rejected a total of 66 times. This meant that by the time I actually got through there were no appointments left. I know the NHS is strained, I am a student nurse so I am very much aware of this, but the fact that I phoned in desperate need of an appointment for my reoccurring medical condition as it began to get worse and received nothing is horrendous. My condition escalates very quickly often resulting in me going to hospital. They know this at the surgery yet I have been told to come back and wait to be seen, by which point I may have gotten worse. Imagine if anyone else needed an emergency appointment but are not severe enough to go to a&e. What choice do we have? The receptionist I spoke to was very rude and abrupt when I explained i have spent 15 mins trying to speak to someone only to be told I’ll get 5 mins with a doctor at some point. I will be looking into moving to a different surgery, in the hopes of being treated with a little more respect. | |||||||

I registered with this Surgery just over a year and my experience has been excellent. I’ve had 4 appointments in that time. Like all surgeries it’s busy and it’s not likely you’ll get an appointment on the day unless it’s an Emergency (Emergency protocol applies). Compared to my previous Surgery, where I was registered for 8 years, my experience has been amazing. I’ve managed to get an appointment within a week for non-emergency appointments and the online booking systems has always had slots available when I’ve been looking – I don’t mind who I see so that helps. The three Doctor’s that I’ve seen have been excellent. Really pleased to be registered this GP clinic and no longer in fear that I can’t access treatment should I need it (which was not my experience at the last GP surgery I was with). I am pleased that you have found our service excellent and that you have found booking an appointment to be relatively easy. We are in the process of encouraging patients to book/cancel via the online system and to let us know when they can not attend a booked appointment.
