I have attended this practice 3 or 4 times over a couple of years . The administration receptionists have been quick, courteous and efficient any practice will probably have days that are difficult and overwhelming but I appreciate courtesy and efficiency. I have been massively impressed with the time and patience Dr.Mark Deverill showed myself with a family member in aattendance and his advice and treatment that were successful and resulted in a family group of four people appreciating his careful consideration of the conditions. However in contrast another doctor who I had an appointment with a few days earlier listened to me for less than 30 seconds , threw a leaflet at me then she immediately took it back whilst saying .....go online and Google it. I'm not the best person in the world. However my brother is highly qualified, retired at the top of his field. I have never before or after seen the most intelligent, kind, realistic person I have ever known leave the door and burst into tears because of her lack of interest, empathy, anything. She just did not care. I don't know I hope she was having an off day. I know having a trusting and good relationship with your G.P. is priceless, I had never met her before but she made me feel worthless and disgusting . | |||||||

How a doctors should be... have moved to Wimborne recently and tried to register at another practice which was extremely long winded and unhelpful (which involved waiting on hold for 30 minutes to be told to go online by a rude receptionist, the online service not working, emailing the practice to be told they would respond in 24 hours, still not heard a week later) I called the practice which answered in two rings and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who recognised my name immediately from my online registration, and was seen within the hour. The doctor I saw was extremely pleasant, had time to chat and made me feel at ease, which was a breath of fresh air coming from a busy practice where every appointment was rushed. Couldn’t recommend more. | |||||||
